A family may set KERNELPATCHDIR to a space-separated list of patch dirs
(spacemit-k3 uses "archive/spacemit-k3-6.18 archive/spacemit-k3-<branch>-6.18").
The generator treated it as a single dir: `patch/kernel/${KERNELPATCHDIR%-*}-*/`
runs %-* on the whole string, so only the last dir's version got trimmed - the
first dir stayed literal and became the CODEOWNERS path, while the second dir's
glob spilled into the owners column, where merge() then treated it as an owner.
That produced the malformed entry:
patch/kernel/archive/spacemit-k3-6.18 @pyavitz archive/spacemit-k3-current-*/ archive/spacemit-k3-legacy-*/
Iterate over each whitespace-separated dir instead (like BOOTPATCHDIR already
does), emitting one owners line per dir and still following a symlinked dir to
its target. spacemit-k3 now yields three clean entries, each owned only by
@pyavitz.

The Armbian Linux Build Framework creates customizable OS images based on Debian or Ubuntu for single-board computers (SBCs) and embedded devices.
